Tyler Clem Closes Out
Run with Summer Nationals
(July
7, 2024) St. Petersburg, Florida native Tyler Clem wrapped
up his long stint on the DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour with Viper
Motorsports and Big Frog Motorsports from July 2-6 in events across
the states of Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Tyler's best
finish of the four-race week came on Thursday night at Riverside
International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas. After picking
up a victory in his heat race, Tyler drove to a strong fifth place
performance in the 30-lap headliner to trail only $5,000 victor
Rodney Melvin, Ethan Dotson, Tanner English, and Dillon McCowan!
On Tuesday evening at Old No. 1 Speedway in Harrisburg, Arkansas,
Tyler ran fourth in his heat race, but engine woes in the $10,000
to win headliner dropped him to a disappointing twenty-fourth
place showing. At Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky
on Friday, Tyler placed sixth in his heat race, but vaulted to
the front of the wild 40-lap feature only to get involved in a
late race incident that relegated him to a ninth place effort.
The #58 team then experienced mechanical trouble at Clarksville
Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday and scratched from
the $10,000 to win program. Full results from each of these races

Macon Runner-Up Headlines
Busy Hell Tour Week!
(July
1, 2024) Tyler Clem was back on the DIRTcar Summer Nationals
grind from June 25-30 in six more showdowns in the states of Missouri
and Illinois. With only a single rain-out, Tyler was able to accumulate
a trio of Top Fives and five Top Tens during the hectic week.
His best performance on the "Hell Tour" this week came
on Thursday at the mighty Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois in
the annual running of the 'Herald & Review 100.' Tyler timed
in second fastest in his group during qualifying, won his heat
race, and later led most of the first 75 circuits in the 100-lap
headliner. At the checkers, the St. Petersburg, Florida ace recorded
an impressive runner-up effort behind only $7,500 victor Jason
Feger!
Other finishes for the week included a fifth on Tuesday at Springfield
Raceway in Springfield, Missouri, a seventh on Friday at Farmer
City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois, a ninth on Saturday at
Highland Speedway in Highland, Illinois, and a fourth on Sunday
at Red Hill Raceway in Sumner, Illinois. Overall, Tyler now finds
himself fourth in the latest version of the heated Summer Nationals
point standings. Complete results from each "Hell Tour"

Tens in Hectic Week!
(June
24, 2024) Viper Motorsports, Big Frog Motorsports, and
Tyler Clem continued on with the grueling DIRTcar Summer Nationals
from June 18-23, as six events were held across the states of
Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. Tyler's best effort came in the
first show of the week on Tuesday evening on the 1/4-mile oval
at Davenport Speedway in Davenport, Iowa. After running second
in his loaded heat race, Tyler was able to improve a couple of
spots during the 30-lap main event to place sixth at the checkered
flag behind only $5,000 victor Tyler Erb, Kye Blight, Garrett
Smith, Derrick Stewart, and Jason Feger!
Other top ten finishes during the hectic week were ninth (after
starting twenty-first) on Thursday at Spoon River Speedway in
Banner, Illinois, eighth on Saturday at Federated Raceway at I-55
in Pevely, Missouri, and ninth on Sunday at Lincoln Speedway in
Lincoln, Illinois. In other "Hell Tour" action, Tyler
placed fifteenth on Wednesday at Adams County Speedway in Quincy,
Illinois and twelfth on Friday at Brownstown Bullring in Brownstown,

Tyler Clem Starts 2024
Summer Nationals Grind
(June
17, 2024) Tyler Clem kicked off the 2024 DIRTcar Summer
Nationals tour from June 12-16 with five events in the Land of
Lincoln. However, only three shows escaped the wrath of Mother
Nature, as stops at Kankakee County Speedway and Sycamore Speedway
were nixed by inclement weather. In the $5,000 to win opener on
Wednesday at Peoria Speedway in Peoria, Illinois, Tyler received
a provisional to start shotgun on the field in the 30-lap feature
and was able to advance past seven cars to salvage a fifteenth
place showing.
Over the weekend, a pair of $10,000 top prizes were
on the line in specials at both Tri-City Speedway in Granite City,
Illinois and Fairbury Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois.
Unfortunately, Tyler was unable to transfer into either main event,
as a stout field of competitors were on hand at both Illinois
ovals. On Friday night at Granite City, he ran seventh in his
heat race and eleventh in the B-Main, while he placed fifth in
his heat race and sixth in the B-Main on Saturday evening at FALS.

Rear End Woes Doom Viper
Motorsports at EAMS
(May
12, 2024) The Viper Motorsports team invaded the historic
East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama on Saturday
night, May 11 for the unsanctioned 'Spring Breaker 50.' With nineteen
Super Late Models on hand for the $10,000 to win special event,
Tyler Clem knocked down the twelfth quickest time during qualifying
to earn the rights to the outside of the sixth row for the start
of the 50-lap headliner. Tyler then blasted his way up to third
and was looking for more when mechanical trouble struck his #63v
machine on lap 33. Terminal rear end woes sent him pitside for
the remainder of the night and relegated the St. Petersburg, Florida
native to a disappointing twelfth place effort. Complete results
from EAMS can be viewed online at www.eamsdirt.com.
Tyler Clem Shows Speed
Again at Lake Cumberland
(April
21, 2024) After Friday's Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals
Series showdown at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky
was nixed due to unsafe track conditions, Tyler Clem and Viper
Motorsports made the short trek to Lake Cumberland Speedway in
Burnside, Kentucky on Saturday evening, April 20 for the annual
'Johnny Wheeler Memorial.' The Spring Nationals sanctioned the
single-day program, which drew 27 entrants to vie for the $10,053
first place prize.
Tyler stopped the clock thirteenth quickest during qualifying,
but later grabbed the fourth transfer spot through his heat race.
The St. Petersburg, Florida ace had then moved up inside of the
top five and was looking for more in the 53-lap headliner before
he was spun by another competitor and ultimately dropped to a
thirteenth place performance. Complete results from last night
